September 5th [Photos]

This is where the first break between words written and pictures taken separates for a couple days.
It happened commonly on this trip, where I just ran out of inspiring thoughts worthy enough to write down.
I didn't want to force it. So I just let my mind take the day off... then catch up.

But it never meant, the pictures stopped coming.

[It probably meant, more.]

Breakfast in an empty restaurant.
Window panels and the never ending wilderness.
The day revolved around a trip across Lake Taal, to the inactive volcano [Taal Volcano].
There's a lake inside that volcano now. So it is just known as the lake within a lake.
It's one of the only.

Self-portrait.
The boat.
My parents.
The volcano.
I think there was something in the water.
Like a baby, or something.
The boat was painted a very maritime blue.
Mediterranean rustic blue.
90/10 Negative Space

DSLR and my Camelbak.
I felt very Nat Geo.
Overgrowth.
A shack we passed by, and the workers in it were watching TV.
When you toggle between 3 different cameras, and balancing on a horse trotting on uneven terrain...
You get a lot of blurry images.

This was a particular one.
My dad and his sherpa.
I'm not sure if its correct to call them sherpa.
But let's just roll with it.
My horse. I wish I gave him a name.
Tough terrain ahead.
I remember I patted on my horse's head, to show my gratitude.
Momma.
A really windy trail, to the top of the hill.
The payout.
Taal Volcano
It was quite an impressive body of water.
I currently am wondering if the water was hot from the volcano, like a hot spring.
Looks like a map off Tropico 3.

Where Are You?
Our view was as close as the barriers set.
Japanese people love throwing up peace signs.
Picture time.
Someone was about to snipe this guy.
I intervened.
He survived to see the view.
Cutting coconuts.
Bag-made
I like to take pictures of other people, when they aren't looking.
Branch-made stairs.
My moms horse.
My dude.
On the way back down the mountain, while my sherpa wasn't looking...
I would pull branches of leaves and plants, and I tried to feed my damn horse.
I was basically sticking it in his mouth.

I'm not sure why he wouldn't eat it.
Back to the boat.
Right out of a Condé Nast Traveler.
You wouldn't know the difference.
Asia, in a nutshell.

And off we go.

Neighbors.

Tycho-appropriate.
It'll be a hit.
For gals.
It's a must.
For guys.
Shopping center in Tagaytay. It was good getting back to civilization.
Signs
This TV setup was out on display outside.
I wonder what would happen if a downpour came out of nowhere.
Come on, its obvious.
Inflation has got into the apple market.
Hyped on some ice cream.
I was kinda craving it the whole trip.

...I got my fix 3 weeks later in Manila.
I found Max [seriously when I saw, it looked like a self portrait of him].
I showed him this picture just the other night...

He died laughing.
[Seriously, he's dead.]
Looked like eel.
Had to be eel.
Poised.
[Zoom up on this picture.]
It's a shampoo ad.
And this guys shampoo is backwards; Haha what a fail.
Get jacked.
Grass jelly. It's a hit.
Catfish, topside.
I took this picture with the sole intent to show Belda.
Haha
My only regret from my month in the Philippines...
Was not buying a box of this drink.

My only regret, seriously.
Word on the street.
Symmetry
Nationally recognized restaurant in Tagaytay.
Great food... horrible service.
Some of the best food I had on the whole trip.
I'm getting really hungry, looking at this.
Pretty colors and a chain-link.
Sunset on Lake Taal, in the eyes of my Hipstamatic.
